History:
The land for the cottages came into the family in 1924, with a gift from Ellen Petersen, to her sister Martha (Mattie) Jasnowski. My grandparents, Martha and Hugh Jasnowski had one son, William. He married Eileen Wood and had one child (me!).
A small cottage was built in 1925, when my father was 16 years old. In 1953, when
I was one year old, the cottage was remodeled, including modern plumbing.
