These are the real thing! The old-fashioned cottage of the 30's-50's, but updated for comfort. If you want that nostalgic "cottage experience" look no further. The cottages are not in a beach association, so the beach area is just for our guests.

The Seadog and Nymph occupy a slim, long lot directly on the lake, (50ft x 480 ft) sharing the private Lake Huron beach.
The Seadog has the unobstructed view, while the Nymph sits 75 ft. behind and to the side of her sister cottage, affording partial views of the lake. Both cottages are very close to the water, and far from the road. The area is quiet and residential, with single family homes. We are not in a "beach association" or subdivision. They are 6 miles south of Lexington and 12 miles north of Port Huron.
A little about us, your hosts, Lisa and Steve Boss. I grew up in Dearborn in the 50's and would spend summers at the cottages, but when I moved to the Grand Rapids area in 1971, it reduced the time I could spend here. When my parents passed away I couldn't bear to let go of this last piece of the family and my childhood, so we started renting them to cover some of the costs. I think my dad and grandfather would enjoy knowing that people can still have a good time at the places they built.
Our Philosophy is that we hope our guests will feel they are at their own "place on the lake" for a relaxing moment in time.
"A pleasure shared is a pleasure doubled."
